DEVELOPMENT: The Gilbert Planning commissioners recently approved a compromise plan that involves utilizing 39 acres of land to create open space, apartments, retail spaces, and a restaurant hub.The the majority of the commercial shops in the proposed plan will be situated along Elliot Road and Power Road. This strategic placement aims to create a vibrant commercial area along these main roads while maintaining a separation between the residential homes and the industrial development.
