The Vig is extending its reach to the East Valley, courtesy of Genuine Concepts, a company known for its multiple restaurants in the Valley, helmed by Scott Kilpatrick, the newly appointed CEO. Kilpatrick, formerly a co-founder of RA Sushi and instrumental in the acquisition of Sauce Pizza & Wine in 2015, brings valuable expertise to the table. With both Sauce and RA enjoying a longstanding presence in Dana Park plaza, it’s a natural progression for Kilpatrick to introduce The Vig to the area. Currently boasting six locations across the Valley, The Vig offers a warm, upscale tavern experience that appeals to a diverse clientele. The new site will be situated in the previous spaces occupied by Union Jack and The Harp Irish Pub, located north of Costa Vida.
